Job Description
The Junior Project Engineer provides essential project execution support across various initiatives, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and operational projects. In this role, you balance office-based data management with hands-on field activities to ensure the smooth delivery of engineering tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Asset Data by performing data entry for Functional Locations (FLOCs) and maintenance plans in accordance with site procedures.
- Oversee CMMS Workflows by initiating, updating, and closing work orders to track project progress and maintenance activities.
- Maintain Project Documentation by ensuring all technical files and records are accurately updated within the Document Management System (DMS).
- Provide Field Support through contractor coordination, site supervision, and performing area tag-in support to ensure safe work execution.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally with diverse teams to support project delivery and ensure the timely completion of all deliverables.
- Uphold Site Standards by adhering to strict GMP, safety, and quality protocols in all administrative and field-based activities.
- Support Project Diversity by remaining adaptable and willing to assist on various engineering projects across different facility areas.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in project support or engineering operations (internship and trainee experience considered).
- Working knowledge of CMMS, DMS, and standard engineering workflows.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate across departments.
- Maintain a proactive mindset and a willingness to support diverse projects in a fast-paced environment.
