Job Description
We are currently seeking an Associate Scientist I to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of industrial experience in cell culture and chemical processes within the Pharmaceutical industry. As an Associate Scientist I, you will work collaboratively in a diverse team to support and troubleshoot commercial biologics cell culture manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot commercial biologics cell culture manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate effectively within a diverse team to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Conduct experiments, analyze data, and propose solutions to improve process performance.
- Perform routine laboratory tasks including sample preparation, data collection, and analysis.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and observations.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in industrial cell culture and chemical processes, preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of biologics manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
