Job Description

We are currently seeking an Associate Scientist I to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of industrial experience in cell culture and chemical processes within the Pharmaceutical industry. As an Associate Scientist I, you will work collaboratively in a diverse team to support and troubleshoot commercial biologics cell culture manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and troubleshoot commercial biologics cell culture manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate effectively within a diverse team to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Conduct experiments, analyze data, and propose solutions to improve process performance.
  • Perform routine laboratory tasks including sample preparation, data collection, and analysis.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and observations.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in industrial cell culture and chemical processes, preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of biologics manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
