Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Automation Engineer to join our team for a dynamic pharmaceutical project based in Lyon, France. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in automation engineering with specific expertise in GE iFix systems. Proficiency in French is a must for this role. This position demands a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, attention to detail, and the capability to thrive in a high-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement iFix automation systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Configure and maintain SCADA systems to ensure accurate and efficient production workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop specifications, and deliver tailored automation solutions.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and adherence to industry standards.
- Provide technical support and training to operational staff on the use and maintenance of iFix systems.
- Document all aspects of the automation process, including design specifications, test plans, and validation reports.
- Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations and industry standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience with SCADA systems, specifically GE iFix.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering, with a focus on pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of GMP regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in French, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
