Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented Automation Engineer with expertise in DeltaV systems to join our team for an exciting project in the pharmaceutical industry located in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DeltaV automation and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions to ensure the efficiency and compliance of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using DeltaV systems to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and integrate DeltaV systems into existing manufacturing infrastructure.
- Configure and program DeltaV distributed control systems (DCS) to meet project objectives and performance criteria.
- Conduct testing, validation, and commissioning of automation systems to ensure reliability, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for DeltaV systems, including diagnosing and resolving complex issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for DeltaV automation systems.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in DeltaV automation technology, and propose innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering, with a focus on DeltaV systems within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in configuring and programming DeltaV DCS, including knowledge of batch processing and recipe management.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, GAMP).
- Experience with validation protocols, including IQ/OQ/PQ and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
