Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join our team for a cutting-edge pharmaceutical project in Texas. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all automation systems are designed, installed, tested, and maintained to meet the rigorous standards of the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute automation projects, focusing on the configuration, commissioning, and validation of control systems, particularly those utilizing DeltaV & Batch technology.
- Ensure that all automated processes adhere to stringent regulatory requirements and are aligned with the operational objectives of the project.
- Develop, test, and implement automation scripts and software to optimize production efficiency and ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, validation specialists, and quality assurance, to resolve technical challenges and ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all automation activities, including system configurations, test results, and validation reports, to ensure compliance and facilitate future reference.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to operational staff, ensuring they are fully equipped to operate and maintain the automated systems effectively.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in automation engineering, with a strong focus on DeltaV & Batch systems.
- Proven experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnological industries, with a deep understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues and implement effective solutions.
