Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer specializing in MES Syncade to join our Global Engineering team. As the Recipe Lead, you will play a key role in designing, testing, and optimizing automated recipes for a high-impact project in Switzerland. This role requires a deep understanding of bioprocess automation and hands-on experience with Syncade systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and align product and production-specific requirements in collaboration with the project team.
- Design, test, and modify recipes under change control during design, start-up, qualification, and production phases.
- Ensure all documentation is compliant with cGMP standards, including eBRs, SOPs, and operating regulations.
- Continuously improve procedures and processes in compliance with safety, hygiene, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure the seamless integration of automation systems.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in recipe authoring and troubleshooting in Syncade systems, with expertise in bioprocess automation.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, open to new ideas, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent social skills, a collaborative team player, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A good understanding of IT/process control systems and an eye for operational optimization.
- Fluent in English.
