Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with experience in Siemens automation systems to join our pharmaceutical company in Germany. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions to enhance manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and other automation technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including process engineers, validation specialists, and quality assurance personnel to integrate Siemens automation systems into pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Program, test, and debug automation software and systems to ensure optimal performance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for Siemens automation systems, including troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Lead and participate in the commissioning and validation of new automation equipment and systems.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering, specifically with Siemens automation systems.
- Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming, HMI configuration, and other relevant software tools.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory standards (GMP, FDA, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Project management experience is advantageous.
