Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in Delta-V systems to join our pharmaceutical company in Switzerland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing automation solutions to support manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement Delta-V Distributed Control System (DCS) solutions to automate and control pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process engineers, validation specialists, and IT professionals to integrate Delta-V systems into existing infrastructure.
- Program, test, and debug automation software and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for Delta-V systems, including troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead and participate in the commissioning and qualification of new automation equipment and systems.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering, specifically with Delta-V DCS systems.
- Proficiency in Delta-V programming and configuration tools.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, etc.).
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISA-88 and ISA-95.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Project management experience is a plus.
