Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead efforts in driving growth in the data center sector in Thailand, Indonesia, or Malaysia. This is a unique opportunity to expand our presence in a rapidly growing region, working with key stakeholders to deliver innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategies to expand our client base and market share.
Identify and engage potential clients, including hyperscalers, telcos, service providers, and other key players in the data center industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Lead the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
Collaborate with the technical team to tailor solutions that meet client specifications and requirements.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies and identify emerging opportunities.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking activities to raise brand awareness and promote services.
Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and business cases to potential clients and partners.
Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development metrics.
Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales, ideally within the data center or IT infrastructure industry.
Strong technical knowledge of data center systems, hardware, software, and managed services.
Proven ability to manage sales cycles from initial contact to closing deals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and clients.
Results-driven with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
