Job Description
We are looking for a skilled BIM Drafter/Modeller to join our team. In this role, you will play a part in designing and drafting precise, efficient BIM models that align with project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building information modeling (BIM) processes and demonstrates attention to detail, enabling seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage BIM models based on project specifications and guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate, cohesive designs.
- Develop and maintain 3D and 2D model documentation, drawings, and schedules.
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts within BIM models.
- Assist in the coordination and review of design modifications and project adjustments.
- Support the team in BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement.
- Ensure all designs comply with company and industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance on BIM software and processes to team members.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in BIM drafting or modeling.
- Proven experience in data center, infrastructure, or commercial projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and clash detection processes.
- Understanding of BIM standards and best practices.
- Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to document and present work progress and updates clearly.
