Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Biotechnologist to join our team for a pharmaceutical project based in Singapore. As a Biotechnologist, you will play a vital role in the cGMP manufacturing operations within our biologics production facility. You will work closely with engineers in tasks such as equipment setup, calibration, and quality testing, ensuring the production of high-quality materials. This position requires the use of advanced software systems like LIMS, SAP, and automated control systems to monitor and adjust manufacturing processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to support ongoing production activities.
- Perform sampling of in-process and raw materials to ensure quality standards.
- Operate and manage glass washers and autoclaves for equipment sterilization.
- Prepare buffers and media required for various production processes.
- Ensure equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use through CIP/SIP procedures.
- Conduct cell culture activities from vial thawing to large-scale production.
- Perform column chromatography for purification processes.
- Utilize tangential flow filtration for separation and concentration of biologics.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or Diploma in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; previous internship experience in a biologics manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing requirements.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with software systems such as SAP and LIMS is preferred.
- Experience with cGMP documentation and record maintenance is highly desirable.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a hands-on approach to work are essential.
- Excellent teamwork, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts to support continuous operations.
