Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Structural Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing structural components of various construction projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and attention to detail, with the ability to collaborate across teams to achieve project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and review structural components and systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to align structural design with project requirements.
- Perform structural calculations and assessments to ensure safety, stability, and durability of structures.
- Create detailed structural plans, models, and drawings using BIM and CAD software.
- Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure structural integrity.
- Identify and resolve design and construction issues as they arise.
- Document and report project progress, challenges, and resolutions.
- Ensure all designs and project documentation comply with local building codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to incorporate structural designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and structural design, with significant experience in data center or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE) and knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, ASCE).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing design teams and projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing engineering challenges.
