Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Manager to join our team in Bangkok, Thailand. This is a key role that will oversee the commissioning of data center projects, ensuring that all systems are properly tested, validated, and handed over to clients in a fully operational state.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the commissioning process for data center projects from start to finish.
Oversee the testing, verification, and validation of all systems, including electrical, mechanical, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS).
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth commissioning activities.
Develop commissioning plans, schedules, and reports, ensuring all activities are completed according to timelines and industry standards.
Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations, as well as industry best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve any commissioning issues that arise during the testing phase.
Provide leadership and guidance to commissioning teams, ensuring they follow proper protocols and maintain high standards of quality.
Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure that all systems meet operational requirements.
Ensure all commissioning documentation is completed accurately, including test reports, certificates, and as-built drawings.
Ensure successful handover of the data center to operations, ensuring all systems are fully functional and meet the client’s requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
At least 7 years of experience in commissioning, with a strong background in data center projects.
Proven experience leading and managing commissioning teams on large-scale infrastructure or data center projects.
Strong understanding of data center systems, including power, cooling, HVAC, fire protection, and BMS.
Experience in managing commissioning schedules, documentation, and reports.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
Knowledge of local and international commissioning standards and best practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
