Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Singapore within the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in roles such as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence professional, or similar positions, with prior experience in data analysis within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or a related field being highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize expertise in data wrangling using Python and SQL to clean, transform, and prepare data from various sources for analysis.
  • Design and implement efficient data models, with a focus on star schema design, for the data warehouse, particularly utilizing Databricks.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from different company systems into the data warehouse.
  • Create visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau to communicate actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Conduct ongoing data quality checks and implement data governance practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all systems.
  • Collaborate with IT, business teams, and data scientists to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis, data visualization, and the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence professional, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in data wrangling using Python (including libraries like Pandas) and SQL.
  • Strong expertise in data visualization using Tableau.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with relational databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Databricks is advantageous.
  • Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Working knowledge of data governance practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
