Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Singapore within the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in roles such as Data Analyst, Business Intelligence professional, or similar positions, with prior experience in data analysis within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or a related field being highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise in data wrangling using Python and SQL to clean, transform, and prepare data from various sources for analysis.
- Design and implement efficient data models, with a focus on star schema design, for the data warehouse, particularly utilizing Databricks.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from different company systems into the data warehouse.
- Create visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau to communicate actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization.
- Conduct ongoing data quality checks and implement data governance practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all systems.
- Collaborate with IT, business teams, and data scientists to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis, data visualization, and the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence professional, or similar role.
- Proficiency in data wrangling using Python (including libraries like Pandas) and SQL.
- Strong expertise in data visualization using Tableau.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with relational databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Databricks is advantageous.
- Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Working knowledge of data governance practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
