Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Delta-V Engineer to join our team in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France. As a Delta-V Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Delta-V distributed control systems (DCS) for our pharmaceutical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement Delta-V DCS solutions in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process engineers, automation engineers, and validation specialists to ensure successful integration of Delta-V systems.
- Develop detailed functional specifications, control narratives, and design documentation for Delta-V systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot Delta-V DCS hardware and software components.
- Perform system testing, validation, and commissioning activities for Delta-V systems.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams on Delta-V system operation and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GMP and FDA guidelines, throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Delta-V DCS systems in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Delta-V system architecture, configuration, and programming languages (e.g., Function Block Diagrams, Sequential Function Charts).
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with validation processes and documentation for Delta-V systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. French language skills are a plus.
