Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead the design and engineering efforts for data center projects in Japan. This role is a great opportunity to drive innovative designs, ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of performance, efficiency, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and engineering of data center projects, ensuring designs align with client needs and industry standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Conduct feasibility studies to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements.
Oversee design documentation, including plans, reports, and regulatory compliance certifications.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure designs support future operational needs and ongoing maintenance.
Ensure that all designs are compliant with local regulations, industry best practices, and sustainability goals.
Manage and track project milestones to ensure timely completion of designs.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 8 years of experience in data center design, with a strong background in project management and cross-functional coordination.
Deep understanding of data center architecture, including electrical, mechanical, and IT systems.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and industry standards like ANSI/TIA.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor design teams.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
