Job Description
The EFU Validation Engineer drives the Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q) lifecycle for Equipment Fan Units (EFU) within a high-stakes regulated environment. In this role, you provide critical technical oversight by managing the end-to-end documentation process, from initial authoring to final approval. You ensure that all EFU systems meet stringent performance standards and regulatory requirements through rigorous pre- and post-execution reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage C&Q Deliverables by authoring, reviewing, and organizing all validation documentation specifically for EFU systems.
- Perform Pre-Execution Reviews of validation protocols to verify that test scripts align with technical specifications and GxP requirements.
- Conduct Post-Execution Reviews to audit raw data, verify results, and ensure all test steps follow the approved protocols.
- Serve as a Designated Approver for validation reports, ensuring that all EFU systems remain compliant and ready for operational use.
- Resolve Deviations by identifying execution discrepancies and working with technical teams to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain Traceability between user requirements, functional specifications, and final testing results throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with Stakeholders across Engineering and Quality to ensure validation timelines support the broader project schedule.
- Uphold Audit Readiness by ensuring all EFU-related documentation is clear, complete, and follows data integrity principles.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong background in Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q) within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing setting.
- Proven ability to perform detailed pre- and post-execution reviews of technical validation protocols.
- Specific experience with EFU systems and the associated environmental control requirements.
- Deep understanding of GxP standards and computerized system validation where applicable.
- Offer expertise in identifying documentation gaps and ensuring compliant record-keeping.
- Work effectively in a cross-functional environment to drive the approval of critical project deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
