E&I Engineer – (Pharma) (SG)

Job Description

You’ll be the central point of contact for all instrument calibration activities within pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, acting as the bridge between vendors, project teams, and the internal E&I team. This involves coordinating and overseeing the calibration of various Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) equipment to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and schedule E&I instrument calibration activities.
  • Oversee calibration execution, ensuring adherence to procedures and GMP.
  • Maintain accurate instrument information in relevant systems (COMOS, SAP-PM, CMX).
  • Provide technical E&I support and troubleshooting during commissioning and qualification.
  • Participate in investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions related to E&I.
  • Ensure proper documentation of E&I calibration activities and generate reports.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and resolve issues proactively.
  • Comply with GMP, HSE, and company policies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 5-8 years of experience in an engineering environment, preferably within a cGMP or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Strong understanding of E&I instruments and calibration principles.
  • Solid knowledge of GMP, HSE, and relevant industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information.  
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with start-up or pre-commissioning activities is a plus.
