Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Warehouse Specialist to join our pharmaceutical project team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the storage, handling, and distribution of engineering materials and equipment within our warehouse. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all materials are properly organized, stored, and readily available to support the ongoing engineering activities in our pharmaceutical facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, inspection, and storage of engineering materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking of incoming and outgoing materials, using warehouse management systems.
- Coordinate the timely distribution of materials and equipment to various engineering teams within the facility, ensuring alignment with project schedules.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner, optimizing space utilization and ensuring easy access to materials.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to forecast material needs and plan inventory levels accordingly.
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation of all materials, including hazardous materials, in compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
- Implement and monitor warehouse safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials.
- Provide support during audits and inspections by regulatory bodies, ensuring that all warehouse operations meet GMP and other regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations and efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in warehouse management, particularly in an engineering or pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with GMP regulations and compliance requirements for material handling in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
