Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Manager with expertise in biopharmaceutical processes to join our team in Texas. As the Process Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing both upstream and downstream operations, ensuring the effective integration of utility equipment, and managing the successful delivery of critical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams in the execution of biopharmaceutical process projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment across all stages.
- Manage the design, implementation, and optimization of both upstream and downstream processes, including utilities equipment, to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring that all goals are met and that the project remains on track.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to process engineering teams, ensuring that best practices and innovative solutions are applied to meet the project’s operational goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to process integration and equipment functionality, proactively addressing potential issues to maintain project momentum.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including project managers, production teams, and external partners, to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, operational reliability, and overall project performance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 10+ years experience as a Process Engineer in biopharmaceutical projects, with a deep understanding of both upstream and downstream processes.
- Strong leadership experience, having led teams and managed large-scale projects in the biopharma industry.
- Expertise in the integration and optimization of utilities equipment within process operations.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex projects from concept through completion.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
