Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join our team for a data center project in Singapore. This role involves overseeing the mechanical systems’ commissioning processes to ensure that all systems are installed, tested, and operational according to project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commissioning of mechanical systems including HVAC, chillers, air handling units, and associated systems for the data center project.
- Conduct thorough testing and inspection of mechanical systems to verify performance and compliance with design specifications.
- Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning documentation, including test reports, system performance data, and compliance records.
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and vendors to resolve any issues and ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Ensure all mechanical systems meet local regulations, industry standards, and project requirements.
- Identify and address any issues or discrepancies during the commissioning process to ensure optimal system performance.
- Provide regular updates on commissioning progress, including any challenges and resolutions, to project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical commissioning, with a focus on data centers or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC systems, and commissioning processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
