Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Packaging Engineer to join a pharmaceutical company in France. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing packaging solutions to meet regulatory requirements and ensure product integrity in our pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop packaging solutions for pharmaceutical products, adhering to regulatory standards such as FDA and EU guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, regulatory constraints, and integrate packaging solutions into the manufacturing process.
- Conduct testing and validation of packaging materials and designs to ensure compatibility with drug formulations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage packaging projects from concept to implementation, including vendor selection, qualification, and production scale-up.
- Monitor and optimize packaging performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to enhance product stability and shelf life.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to packaging designs, specifications, and quality assurance protocols.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical packaging, including GMP, ISO, and pharmacopoeial standards.
- Proficiency in CAD software for packaging design and simulation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on quality and compliance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a regulated environment and cross-functional teams.
- Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project timelines while adhering to regulatory requirements.
