Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Packaging Engineer to join a FMCG company in France. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing packaging solutions to meet product specifications and enhance efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop packaging solutions for FMCG products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and integrate packaging solutions into the manufacturing process.
- Conduct testing and evaluation of packaging materials and designs to ensure durability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage packaging projects from concept to implementation, including vendor selection, prototyping, and production scale-up.
- Monitor and optimize packaging performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to packaging designs, specifications, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging engineering, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software for packaging design and modeling.
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, processes, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
