Job Description

We are looking for a Project Controls Manager to oversee and manage project cost, schedule, and performance controls, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to monitor progress, manage risks, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project controls, excellent analytical skills, and expertise in project management tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project control systems to monitor cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, tracking milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Identify potential risks and deviations in project timelines and budgets, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular project performance reviews, providing progress updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Oversee change management processes, ensuring changes are properly documented and evaluated for impact.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to establish and maintain project baselines.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and contractual requirements.
  • Generate detailed reports and dashboards on project performance for senior management and clients.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project control teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project controls, scheduling, and cost management, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in project controls software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), critical path analysis, and risk management methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Certification in PMP (Project Management Professional), CCP (Certified Cost Professional), or related certifications is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract management and claims processes is an advantage.
