Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team for an exciting project within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector based in France. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management within the FMCG industry and will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage FMCG projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance, to ensure successful project execution and integration.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project risks and challenges.
- Monitor and report on project progress, performance metrics, and key milestones, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the FMCG sector, and apply this knowledge to drive project success.
- Manage stakeholder communication and expectations, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of FMCG industry dynamics, including product development, production, supply chain, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
