Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Process Engineer with expertise in Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to join our pharmaceutical company in France. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing pharmaceutical manufacturing processes using DCS technology to ensure product quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes using DCS technology, ensuring seamless integration with existing control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process automation solutions, including batch control, recipe management, and alarm management.
- Conduct process optimization studies, including data analysis and modeling, to identify opportunities for improving process efficiency and productivity.
- Lead process automation projects from concept to implementation, including system design, programming, testing, and commissioning.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams on DCS operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on DCS implementation in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in DCS platforms such as Emerson DeltaV, Siemens PCS 7, or Rockwell PlantPAx.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with process control strategies, loop tuning, and advanced control techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on quality and compliance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage project timelines.
- Project management experience, with the ability to lead process automation projects and deliver results.
