Job Description
We are currently seeking a Process Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GMP processes and project management, along with the ability to lead CAPEX investments, equipment installations, and process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and implement CAPEX investments, equipment installations, and process improvement projects in the GMP manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on involvement in site acceptance tests, commissioning, installation qualification, operational qualification, and performance reviews.
- Review and improve manufacturing processes to ensure effective and efficient practices are executed.
- Recommend, innovate, and implement revised methods and processes in the plant to drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor processes for continuous improvement, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other initiatives as appropriate.
- Identify improvement opportunities for processes and create actions to further drive efficiency and productivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems for all manufacturing work centers and plant facilities.
- Provide Engineering support to all other functions in the plant.
- Utilize process design experience in various utilities such as Steam, Clean Dry Air (CDA), liquid batching, and Clean-in-Place (CIP) processes.
- Apply strong knowledge of Process Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs), boilers, silos, and CIP systems to enhance manufacturing operations.
- Identify problems, root cause, and implement preventative measures to ensure smooth operations.
- Demonstrate project management skills including planning and organizing.
- Take ownership in maintaining facilities and pride in results of work.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project execution, equipment installation, commissioning, and validation, preferably in the GMP industry.
- Strong understanding of GMP processes and requirements.
- Knowledge and experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with process design in utilities such as Steam, CDA, liquid batching, and CIP processes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Eligibility to work in Singapore is required.
