Job Description
The Project Manager drives the delivery of high-impact manufacturing projects within a global pharmaceutical production environment. In this role, you lead the execution of capital projects ranging from €0.5M to €40M within Manufacturing Operations. You ensure that every initiative hits its milestones on schedule and stays within budget while you maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance in a world-class facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire project lifecycle from the initial concept and planning phases through to final commissioning and handover.
- Act as the central point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders, including Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and External Contractors.
- Maintain strict compliance with global regulatory requirements, specifically GxP and FDA/EMA expectations.
- Master project controls by driving schedule adherence, budget management, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Communicate with impact when you report project milestones, financial health, and strategic updates to senior leadership.
- Support site growth by integrating new industrial assets and technologies into existing manufacturing infrastructure.
- Foster a collaborative environment where you facilitate technical problem-solving and make data-driven decisions.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven project management background within a pharmaceutical manufacturing or Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) environment.
- Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale industrial capital projects on time and on budget.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical GMP and the global regulatory landscape.
- Fluency in Italian and professional proficiency in English are required for this role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in project budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment tools.
