Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for pharmaceutical projects in the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment, aligning with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry’s compliance needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime
- Oversee troubleshooting and repair work, ensuring quick resolution of technical issues
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify areas for improvement and upgrade equipment as needed
- Lead and mentor the maintenance team, providing training and support on best practices and safety
- Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, optimizing resource allocation and cost control
- Ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained and available for immediate use
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure equipment and facility safety standards
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of GMP, safety standards, and industry regulations
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance planning and troubleshooting
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficient in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations as needed
