Job Description
The Senior Lead Application Engineer spearheads the design and deployment of technical solutions for complex client requirements. You bridge the gap between core engineering and customer-facing implementation. In this leadership role, you oversee the full application lifecycle, from initial proof-of-concept to final site integration. You ensure that all technical deployments align with performance specs, safety standards, and regional regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Technical Implementations by translating complex customer needs into functional system architectures.
- Oversee Project Lifecycles from initial site assessments and design reviews to final commissioning.
- Act as the Primary Technical Liaison between the internal R&D teams and external client stakeholders.
- Direct Application Engineering Teams to ensure high-quality delivery of software and hardware integrations.
- Drive Problem-Solving Efforts by troubleshooting critical system failures and performance bottlenecks on-site.
- Standardize Technical Workflows to improve deployment speed and maintain consistency across project sites.
- Support Sales and Pre-Sales by validating technical feasibility and providing accurate labor and material estimates.
- Mentor Junior Engineers to build technical bench strength and ensure the adoption of best practices.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of engineering experience, with a focus on system applications or integration.
- History of leading high-performance technical teams on large-scale projects.
- Demonstrate expertise in system logic, hardware-software interfacing, and API integrations.
- Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Practical understanding of project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
- Apply rigorous testing and validation methods to ensure system reliability.
