This hire is different. We’re not looking for someone to slot in, we’re looking for someone to own a contract desk from day one, working their existing market from Dubai, with genuine scope to expand as the business scales around them.
Key Responsibilities
- Map, engage, and maintain an active pipeline of specialist contract professionals within your existing market, ready for deployment as client demand grows.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of contract recruitment—from initial role scoping with clients to rapid candidate identification, objective competency screening, and contract finalization.
- Coordinate with internal compliance teams to ensure all onboarding logistics, regional labor requirements, and contract documentation conform to local regulations.
- Negotiate contract day-rates, client markups, and margin structures, ensuring profitable delivery while remaining competitive in the regional market.
- Provide corporate clients with accurate, real-time market intelligence regarding contractor availability, rate benchmarking, and flexible workforce trends.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for active contractors, managing queries regarding contract extensions, payroll cycles, and onsite assignments.
- Ensure precise tracking of contract end-dates, compliance documentation, and assignment extensions within the global recruitment system.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of contract recruitment experience with deep sector knowledge and established market relationships
- Sector fit: Renewables, data centres, transmission and distribution, offshore wind, pharma, semiconductors, or adjacent infrastructure markets
- Self-sufficient: Able to operate independently and drive results without close direction
- Commercially sharp: Strong understanding of margin, contractor retention, and long-term desk health
- Relationship-first: A strong professional reputation in your market and the ability to leverage it
- Must be based in Dubai or willing to relocate there
