Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end program management for data center construction projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Establish and monitor project performance metrics, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, negotiating contracts and resolving conflicts when necessary.
- Provide strategic oversight for multiple projects, ensuring consistency in execution and alignment with company goals.
- Implement and optimize best practices for data center construction methodologies, leveraging industry trends and innovations.
- Drive stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, sustainability goals, and corporate standards.
- Lead program reviews and post-mortem assessments to improve future project delivery.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in program/project management for large-scale data center construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and networking systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Primavera P6).
- Strong understanding of safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance for data centers.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP, PgMP, or similar certification preferred.
