You balance cutting-edge innovation with operational reliability to ensure our infrastructure supports the next generation of AI and cloud computing. By leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers and architects, you drive the standardization of design global-wide while adapting to local site requirements and power constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Design Vision by defining the technical standards for high-density, mission-critical infrastructure.
- Master Productization by developing repeatable, modular data center designs that reduce speed-to-market.
- Direct Engineering Excellence across mechanical, electrical, structural, and fire protection workstreams.
- Drive Sustainability Goals by implementing advanced cooling solutions and liquid-to-chip technologies to lower PUE.
- Oversee Technical Due Diligence for new site acquisitions, evaluating power availability and environmental risks.
- Manage High-Level Stakeholders by presenting design strategies and CAPEX requirements to the Board and C-suite.
- Partner with Construction and Operations to ensure that theoretical designs translate perfectly into buildable, maintainable assets.
- Champion Innovation by researching emerging hardware trends to future-proof our facilities for evolving rack densities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in engineering leadership, with at least 8 years specifically in Data Center design.
- History of delivering hyperscale or large-colocation projects from concept to commissioning.
- Deep knowledge of Tier III/IV architectures, medium-voltage distribution, and chilled water or immersion cooling.
- Expert in managing large engineering budgets and optimizing total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Proven track record of building and mentoring world-class, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
